Broiled Grapefruit

This morning we tried a new way to eat our grapefruit. We cut it in half, put a little agave on it and broiled for a few minutes. 
In the link off Pinterest it said that it would crystallize on top and taste like a delicious treat. Other than it being served warm and obviously not quite as bitter (since we added agave) we didn't feel like there was anything too special about it.
